The final official movie trailer of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2,' as shown in the video below, was released on Thursday, September 6, 2012 during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
As featured at MTV on Thursday night, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone, and 'Twilight Saga' producer Wyck Godfrey went on stage to introduce the final trailer of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2' movie, which will be shown in the US this coming November 16.
"It's been an amazing journey and we'd like to thank all the fans of the series for your incredible enthusiasm from the beginning until now, the final chapter…this is an exclusive clip from 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.'" Pattinson said; who is reprising his role as Edward Cullen, the vampire husband of Bella Swan.
"For over four years we've been working together as a family for the Twilight films and this year is the epic final." Lautner said, who is also reprising his role as Jacob Black, the werewolf man and a friend of Bella but later fell in love with her. He and Edward have been competing to win the heart of Bella.
Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart, who plays the role of Bella, was not around that night because she is currently in Canada for the Toronto Film Festival for the red-carpet premiere of her new film, 'On the Road,' opposite Garrett Hedlund, which will be released in the US this coming December 21.
The release of final trailer of the fifth and final installment of the Twilight Saga movie series came more than a month after Stewart cheated on Pattinson, her boyfriend of 3 years. The 22-year old actress admitted that she had an affair with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders and made a public apology.
