«O Come, All Ye Faithful» is set to air on December 13, and while the official synopsis doesn’t talk about any specific Christmas activities (beyond a Winter Wonderland-themed party, we hope that it will include some presents being exchanged in addition to, you know, trying to stop Klaus from ruining everything ever. Since Elena, Stefan and Damon will likely be busy dealing with the Original vampire, we put together a list of gift suggestions to help their holiday planning be all merry and bright. After all, it is November, which means Christmas lights are about to go up and radio stations are going to start playing carols, if they haven’t already.

We learned in of «The Vampire Diaries» that Elena has a special hunger for frat boys. Right after feeding from one, she told Damon that she wanted more, so why not give it to her? We have a feeling Damon has enough connections to buy Elena a fraternity feast with no strings attached. Ah, the joys of becoming a vampire: Christmas becomes so much bloodier.
Speaking of Damon, the rogue Salvatore brother seems to be getting a bit too close to Elena for his brother’s comfort, despite the fact she very clearly chose to be with Stefan (though last week’s almost-kiss could have fooled us. Damon just can’t seem to move on, which is why we figured it’s about time that Stefan bought him a relationship self-help guide. «Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus» has helped countless humans over the years, so why shouldn’t it apply to supes as well?
Sometimes the gifts that matter most aren’t physical ones, but rather the experiences we share. Considering Stefan’s admission during «» that he wants the cure for his vampirism so that he can have a normal life with Elena, we figure he would love it if she gave him a taste of what that would be like. Sure, they’re both vampires now and they’re fighting against what seems to be a never-ending stream of enemies, but it shouldn’t be too hard to schedule one day where they can just go to the movies, make dinner for one another and then relax in front of the Christmas tree, right? Actually, what are we talking about, that sounds nearly impossible in Mystic Falls, but maybe it’s worth a shot anyway.
